Enactment

What is Enactment Training?

This 21-minute test consists of a set of cues and commands, along with physically acting out the tasks. This may help improve the individual’s prospective memory and make remembering that task later easier. Carrying out tasks by actually going through the gestures during the learning stage of testing has shown to improve memory functions.

The commands in bold are associated with time values for when the examiner is to say that cue to the examinee. The words in italics are when the examiner has to give the examinee an item. And then the rest of the time values specify when the examinee is expected to perform the command.

To perform this test, you will need a pen, a sheet of paper, a stereo, and a pencil holder. The examinee will be doing a crossword puzzle while the examiner is administering the test.
