It is crucial for schools to have a either a policy, programs, or curriculum in place to uphold and enforce the values of the mission district statement. Having a this policy or programs that support the values of the district in place is a critical variable establishing a critical pedagogy in schools.
Through the research and analysis process we concluded that some school districts have done a great job handling this responsibility and others have failed to establish such a standard.
